Divrigi Ulu Mosque

Built in 1229 the mosque is situated in Sivas city. The architect is HurremSah of Ahlat and is built with order of Sultan of Mengücoglu Ahmet Sah. Praises presented to Sultan Aladdin Keykubat 1st of Seljuks are printed on inscriptions.lt is taken into UNESCO'S World Heritage List because of its decorations and its architecture together with the darüssifa or hospital building. It is considered as one of the most important works in Anatolia especially with its geometrical and floral patterned relieves placed on its imperial main port.
