It is built in Kayseri in 1276. It is also known as Sah Cihan Hatun Kümbeti as it was built for Sah Cihan Hatun, daughter of Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat 1st of Seljuks. It has a cylindrical shaped body placed on a square base and built out of yellowish colored cut stone. Each of 12 facades on the tomb is decorated with floral and geometrical motives Access is provided through a narrow and two sided staircase. There are two lion relieves with human heads with broken pieces carved on the port. |
