Thin Minaret Medrese

It was built between the years of 1260 and 1264 with orders of Seljuk Grand Vizier Sahip Ata in Konya. On the imperial gate an inscription tells us that the architect is Keluk son of Abdullah. As it was built to have studies on hadiths, it was called as Darülhadis during that period. It is famous with the minaret decorated with tiles and its precious stone port with handworks. Restored partially in 1956, Thin Minaret Medrese is used as Museum of Stone and Wooden Works in Seljuk Period. The minaret collapsed almost down to its first gallery by a lightning struck in 1901 and is displayed in Miniaturk with its look after the restoration is over.
