Minareli Mosque
Located within the
citadel of Antalya, The Yivli Minare or the "Grooved Minaret"
was built during the time of Seldjukian Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat in 1230.
Considered as the symbol of the Antalya, Yivli Minare can be seen from
throughout the city. Its cylindrical body with 8 grooves stands on a square
shaped pedestal. |
